Field Notes

Striking and vocal, these beautiful songbirds are a herald of spring in the North East. Fun fact; they seem to prefer dark-colored fruit. Goes to show that even animals can be picky with their food! This is one of the first birds I photographed, and I was amazed by how bright and beautiful it was.
